What makes this product stand out?

The 2200 Series is Philips' entry point into bean-to-cup machines — yet it doesn't cut corners exactly where it matters most: the grinder. It's fitted with a 100% ceramic flat burr grinder. It barely heats the bean while grinding, stays sharp for years, and so has the edge over the steel grinders many competitors use at this price point. Twelve grind settings are available. The Aroma Extraction system moistens the freshly ground coffee before the actual brewing. This pre-brew step opens up the coffee and releases more flavour compounds — a difference you can clearly taste in the cup. The classic Panarello frother takes care of cappuccino. The brewing unit is removable and can be cleaned under running water; AquaClean allows up to 5,000 cups without descaling. 275 g bean hopper, 1.8 l water tank, 1500 W, cup height up to 15 cm. Dimensions 36.6 × 24.7 × 43.4 cm at 8 kg.
