The key is the double-walled stainless-steel thermal carafe. Unlike a hotplate, the finished coffee isn't reheated, only insulated. The Aroma Twister swirls the coffee as it flows into the carafe, so strength is distributed evenly — the last cup tastes like the first. 1000 watts of heating power bring the water up to temperature quickly.
