The Philips 65PUS8600 brings a cinema-scale picture to the living room with a 165 cm screen diagonal. QLED technology uses quantum dots and keeps colours clean even at high brightness — an advantage in rooms with a lot of daylight. 4K resolution at 3,840 x 2,160 pixels pays off especially at this screen size: text and faces stay sharp. HDR extends the contrast range: highlights stay bright without dark areas of the picture crushing to black. The streaming apps come built in from the factory — no extra streaming stick is needed. Channels and volume can be controlled by voice command. HDMI 2.1 gives current-generation consoles the bandwidth they need for 4K at a high frame rate.
